HOW TO USE
GemmyMedical Ultra 10 cm x 10 cm hydrocolloid dressing is a ultra-thin film for low to moderate exuding wounds - pressure injuries, superficial burns, donor sites, and minor abrasions. On contact with fluid it forms a soft gel that maintains a moist healing environment while acting as a bacterial and waterproof barrier. The self-adhesive design keeps it in place through daily movement and lets clinicians check healing without removal. GemmyMedical runs an integrated manufacture-to-research wound-care line with automated coating and converting, so each 10 cm x 10 cm dressing leaves a cleanroom-controlled process under an ISO quality management system and is supplied with documentation. Distributors, hospital groups, and home-care brands can private-label the Ultra range with custom sizes, shapes, and pouch printing. It is a practical, low-trauma option for facilities and resellers building a reliable moist-wound-care assortment on a source-factory basis, with consistent supply and responsive OEM support.

Clinical Applications

Ideal for treating with Gemmymedical’s hydrocolloid wound dressing solutions:

(1)Blisters, burns, and abrasions – including the use of blister bandages, blister patches, or blister plasters to protect friction-prone areas.

(2)Pressure ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers, especially when managed with hydrocolloid foot patches for targeted healing.

(3)Post-surgical wound dressing for low to moderate exudate wounds using waterproof hydrocolloid bandages.

(4)Skin breakdown prevention due to friction, where medical dressing options like hydrocolloid dressings offer discreet and effective protection.

Commonly utilized across sports medicine, first aid kits, hospital wound care settings, and elderly care facilities requiring reliable medical supplies.
How To Use
Clean the Wound Area: Gently clean the wound with mild soap and water or a saline solution. Pat the area dry with a sterile cloth or gauze to ensure the dressing adheres well.
Prepare the Dressing: If needed, cut the ultra-thin hydrocolloid dressing to fit the wound size, leaving a 1-2 cm border around the wound to help the dressing adhere securely.
Apply the Dressing: Carefully remove the backing from the dressing. Place the adhesive side over the wound, ensuring it is centered, and gently press down from the center outward to adhere the dressing smoothly.
Seal the Edges: Run your fingers around the edges to ensure a tight seal and eliminate any air bubbles. This helps prevent the dressing from lifting and keeps contaminants out.

Monitor and Replace: Check the wound regularly for signs of infection, such as redness or swelling. Change the dressing if it becomes saturated or begins to peel at the edges.

Gently Remove: To remove, lift one corner and slowly peel it off, supporting the skin as you go. This helps avoid irritation and damage to healing tissue.
